Google Pixel 8 Pro

Stunning comes standard.

In Google Pixel 8 Pro The Pixel Camera records sharp, smooth video with rich colour and clear audio, even in crowded, dimly lit places. Google AI applies noise reduction to boost video quality in any light.7

Expert video processing.

Don’t worry about shaky or imperfect videos. Video Boost automatically adjusts color, lighting, stabilization, and graininess. And it enables Night Sight Video on Google Pixel 8 Pro.7

Beautifully authentic videos with Real Tone.

With Real Tone in Google Pixel 8 Pro , now in video, accurately represents the nuances of more skin tones. So everyone feels seen.

Advanced editing helps you control every detail.

With Google AI, you can edit photos in ways that you never thought possible, so they match your vision.

Reimagine your photos. Directly on your phone.

Use the Magic Editor in Google Photos to add custom edits and studio-quality enhancements to any photo.7 Improve lighting and background, move a subject, and more, with just a few taps.

Group pics. Group approved.

Did someone blink or look away? Pixel’s Best Take combines similar photos into one fantastic picture where everyone looks their best.7

Video sounds even better.

In Google Pixel 8 Pro Audio Magic Eraser uses Google AI to reduce distracting sounds like cars and wind, so you can hear the ones you want.8

Get more done, even faster.

Google AI makes it even easier to search, screen calls, translate and more.

Circle to search anything directly from the app that you’re in on Pixel 8 Pro. Just draw a circle around an image, text or video with your finger and Google AI finds it fast.29

Google Pixel 8 Pro is now running Gemini Nano.

Google’s most efficient AI model is built for on-device tasks like Summarise in Recorder, so you can read the highlights from your recorded conversations without a network connection.30

Translate on the spot.

With Live Translate, you can interpret face-to-face conversations in 49 languages, transcribe messages in real time and translate signs.9

Goodbye, spam calls.

With Call Screen, Google Assistant can now detect and filter out even more spam calls. For other calls, it can tell you who’s calling and why before you pick up.10

Do more using your voice.

Ask Google Assistant to write messages twice as fast with your voice.11,12

What is an unlocked phone?

An unlocked phone is a phone that isn’t tied to a specific operator. When you purchase an unlocked Pixel phone, you get to choose which operator or plan works best for you. Most phones in the Google Store come unlocked.
Important: Pixel phones work with all major operators. But not all Pixel 4a (5G) and later phones have 5G functionality on all 5G networks.25 See a list of certified operators to make sure that your phone works on its 5G network.
To use a SIM-unlocked phone:
1. Buy an unlocked Pixel phone from the Google Store.
2. Contact a mobile operator.
3. Follow their instructions to set up your phone with their service plan.

What is eSIM?

eSIM technology allows you to add a cellular plan to your Pixel 8 Pro, without using a physical SIM card. Pixel 8 Pro will arrive ready to activate with an eSIM. You will need a Wi-Fi connection for setup.
If you choose to connect to an operator after you buy your Pixel 8 Pro, you will need to contact your operator to activate with an eSIM.

Does Pixel 8 Pro have 5G network compatibility?

Yes, Pixel 8 Pro works with 5G networks. The type of 5G service depends on both the phone model and the carrier network. Learn more about 5G.

What is included in the Pixel 8 Pro box?

Your Google Pixel 8 Pro purchase comes with a 1 m USB-C® to USB-C® cable (USB® 2.0), Quick Start Guide, Quick Switch Adapter (for data transfer), and SIM tool. Google Pixel 8 Pro does not come with a 30W USB-C Power Charger, but that can be purchased separately.

Is it difficult to transfer data from my old phone to Pixel?

All you have to do is connect your old phone with your new Pixel, then your selected data – like contacts, photos, messages and more – will copy over.26 And the whole process takes about 30 minutes on average.
New Pixel phones come with everything that you need to make moving your data easy, including a USB® adaptor to connect your Pixel to your old phone. Once connected, prompts on your Pixel screen will guide you through the transfer process. You can transfer over contacts; photos and videos; text messages, iMessages® and WhatsApp messages; apps; music; iCloud® and Google calendars; call logs; notes; and more.

How do I switch from an Android phone or an iPhone to Pixel?

Switching to Pixel is easy. You can transfer your stuff, like photos or messages, from your old phone to your Pixel in a few simple steps. Learn more about switching to Pixel.

Where can I find setup instructions and tips?
